Exclusive Internships at Arizona State University in 2023

(17.04.2023) Prof. Ali Sunyaev from the Critical Information Infrastructure Research Group at the Institute of Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods (AIFB) (http://cii.aifb.kit.edu) is offering a research internship in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Julian Lehmann at the Arizona State University. Master students from the KIT can apply until May 15th, 2023, for an internship.

 

The internship can be part of the DAAD program “Promos”. The program promotes the mobility of students and doctoral candidates from German universities. The funding is made available to the universities for the independent implementation and handling of the funding measures selected by the university. Applications can be submitted by any state or state-recognized German higher education institution via the International Office or via another central administrative institution of the higher education institution. DAAD provides scholarships for successful applicants to help cover part of the living and travel costs. This year, the internship topic is about: “Temporary Changing Systems in the Context of AI-driven Convergence“

Master students will write their master thesis in the cii research group as preparation for the internship. Refer to the attached document for detailed information (available only in English). The internship will take place at the end of the year (e.g., October to December) and could last between six weeks and three months. 

The deadline for the application is May 15, 2023.
