Research Project DIRECTIONS’ Expert Advisory Board Meeting at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in Berlin

(10.05.2023) The DIRECTIONS (Data Protection Certification for Educational Information Systems) expert advisory board meeting was held at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in Berlin on the 10th of May 2023. The projects’ current status as well as next steps for the piloting phase were discussed.

Project DIRECTIONS conceptualises, develops, and validates a sustainable data protection certification for educational information systems. Predominantly with a focus on students' virtual learning environments, content platforms and apps while taking the underlying learning infrastructures into account.

The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research has funded the project with more than 6 MEUR.
