Three Articles Presented at the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) and the Workshop on Information Technologies and Systems (WITS) 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand

(10.01.2025) Recently, Guangyu Du, Long Hoang Nguyen, Scott Thiebes, and Ali Sunyaev from the cii research group travelled to Bangkok in Thailand to present their current work at the most prestigious gathering of Information Systems academics and research-oriented practitioners in the world.

The conference started with a warm welcome reception, including extensive opportunities to explore the local cuisine as well as network with peers while enjoying a view.

The days after were filled with paper sessions, during which Scott Thiebes and Guangyu Du presented their accepted papers. Both paper sessions had a lively audience, providing helpful and constructive feedback.

The ICIS culminated at the social event that included traditional Thai food and stage performances.

After the ICIS was over, Guangyu Du and Long Hoang Nguyen went to the WITS to present the third paper.

The WITS also included a social event with a boat tour along the Chao Phraya River.

On the next day, Long Hoang Nguyen chaired a paper session and presented his paper. Even though it was one of the last sessions, the audience posed many thought-provoking questions and engaged in a lively discussion.
