Successful participation in the "1st International IDEATHON Challenge 2020"

(17.12.2020) A team of the cii research group participated in the “1st International IDEATHON Challenge” from December 11–13 and achieved 2nd place in the competition.

Mandy Goram and students from the research group Aylin Usta, Moritz Ritzl, Ida Meier and Fabian Dernbach developed an innovative idea to improve digital communication in and after the global Corona pandemic aiming to create a perceptible virtual experience.

The IDEATHON was jointly organized by SAP, the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS), HSE University, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität (WWU) and Stanford University. More than 20 teams from around the world participated in the IDEATHON Challenge. Design thinking experts gave presentations and provided tips on how to develop innovative ideas in a short time. The international teams designed a variety of ideas to address current and future challenges facing society.
