Current Research of the cii Group Presented at the Conference of the DFG Priority Programme 2267 “Digitalization of Working Worlds”

(13.03.2024) At the Harnack House in Berlin Richard Guse presented the cii research group's current research on digital transformation in healthcare at the conference "Work. Transform? Repeat" of the DFG Priority Program 2267. At the three-day conference from 11.03.2024 to 13.03.2024, current research contributions on the topic of "Digitalization of Working Worlds" were presented and discussed by associated DFG project members and other external researchers.

At the end of the three-year funding phase and the beginning of the second funding phase, all previously funded DFG projects, all newly funded DFG projects and other interested parties were invited to the conference "Work. Transform? Repeat" was organized. Together with Prof. Dr. Christoph Rosenkranz from the Chair of Integrated Information Systems at the University of Cologne and Phil Hennel from the University of Bremen, the cii research group under Prof. Dr. Ali Sunyaev, Scott Thiebes and Richard Guse has been researching the topic of digital transformation in healthcare over the past three years as part of the joint DFG project within the DFG Priority Program. Richard Guse reported on this research in his presentation on digital transformation in healthcare - how the value proposition of healthcare organizations helps to uncover underlying transformation dynamics of digital transformation.

The conference included a total of 40 contributions from researchers as well as five keynotes from renowned researchers from various disciplines: Prof. Dr. Thomas Becker (NTNU Trondheim), Prof. Dr. Monika Dommann (University of Zurich), Prof. Dr. Lauri Wessel (European University Viadrina), Prof. Dr. Robin Williams (University of Edingburgh), Prof. Dr. John Zysman (University of California, Berkeley).
